Young Puppy
From 4th week to 5 months of age, the phase of their life is called young puppyhood. During this stage, the growth of Chihuahuas slows down a little. By this time, they might have gained approximately 30% of their adult weight.

6 Weeks Old: This is the best time to teach the Chihuahua some skills, as their curiosity level is at peak. First vaccination should also be introduced in the 6th week.

2 Months Old: This phase may also be seen as the beginning of their teething process. They can be taught some healthy habits such as cleaning, grooming, brushing, and walking.

3 Months Old: This is the perfect time to train them in behavioural lessons.

4 Months Old: The pup needs a lot of chewing toys during this month, as the teething period is at its peak. The 4 months old Chihuahua may go through puberty and also may produce sperm. But, they don’t get mature enough by this time to produce sperm.

5 Months Old: Their energy level is at its peak during this period. They need a well-nourished meal at least thrice a day. The growth may slow down a little by this time.
